Howard Dean Replaces His Campaign Manager
Will the USS Vermonster founder? Or can they plug the leak and right the ship?
I'm not optimistic. It's just a bad idea to run on a personality that's not your own - you can't sustain it over the long haul.

A political candidate cannot run its campaign bus on Anger Fuel. It also cannot operate exclusively on the energy of eager people 16-24 who would be better off taking their mid-terms on schedule. A few payless paydays among the full-time staffers also has a remarkable ability to clarify thought. And provide business for a Kinko's in reprinting resumes. Leaving the Dems with intractable dilemmas: 1. Without Pretty Boy Edwards, how to they win the South? 2. How do they sell John Vietnam Syndrome Kerry without La Teresa running totally off the heezy? 3. Like the old Sound of Music song- How Do You Solve A Problem Like Tah-RAY-zuh? (Feeling musical today.)
